Tellioh started with a simple worry: the little things — the sound of a grandparent's laugh, the way a mom tells the story of the night you were born, the family trip nobody wrote down — have a way of quietly disappearing. Nobody decides to forget them. They just do, because they were never captured anywhere that lasts.
We built Tellioh to make that easier to fix. You bring a memory, a photo, or a voice, and Tellioh turns it into something you can actually keep — a personalized story, gently illustrated, narrated in a real voice, and if you want it, printed into a keepsake book that can sit on a shelf for decades. Not a post that scrolls away. Something that stays.
Who it's for
Tellioh isn't only about bedtime stories for kids, though it's wonderful for that too. It's for grandparents who want their voice to keep reading to a grandchild long after a visit ends. It's for parents who want to preserve the small stories of their kids' childhoods before the details fade. And it's for adults who want to hold onto stories about their own parents and grandparents — the ones that only exist because someone remembered to ask.
Different families use it differently. Some record a grandparent reading a favorite story once, so that voice can narrate story after story from anywhere in the world. Some turn an old photo into an illustrated memory a child can revisit. Some are quietly building a kind of family archive, one story at a time, for people who aren't born yet.
Who's behind Tellioh
Tellioh is built by a small, founder-led team. We're not a big company with a call center — we're a few people who believe every family's stories are worth preserving, and who are building this because we want it to exist, for our own families as much as anyone else's.
We know we're asking for something meaningful when we ask you to upload a voice recording or a family photo. We take that trust seriously, and we've written in plain language about how we handle it in our Privacy Policy. If you ever have a question, a concern, or just want to talk to a real person about it, email us — support@tellioh.app — and you'll hear back from someone who actually works on Tellioh.
